Pakistan, July 3 -- At least 17 people have died and 41 others have been injured in monsoon-related incidents across Pakistan, according to the National Disaster Management Authority. The casualties were reported between June 26 and July 3 as heavy rains continued to affect multiple provinces. Children, women, and men are among the victims, highlighting growing concerns over public safety during the monsoon season.
NDMA said one person was killed and three others were injured during the last 24 hours alone. The authority added that rain-related accidents, including flooding, collapsing structures, and other weather-linked incidents, have caused widespread damage and casualties across affected areas.
