Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- The nationwide death toll from the year's monsoon season climbed to 126 from June 26 to August 1, while the number of injured rose to 404, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The main cause of deaths, according to a report released by the NDMA on Saturday, was electrocution, followed by flash floods, drowning, and lightning, among other rain-related incidents such as house collapse and trees falling.
In a report released on Saturday, the authority reported four deaths over the past 24 hours due to rain-related incidents, including drowning and lightning, with Sindh reporting three of the casualties.
