Pakistan, July 23 -- At least 43 people have died and 177 others have been injured in monsoon-related incidents across Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy rainfall continued on Thursday, prompting flood warnings and emergency response efforts. Lahore recorded 343 millimetres of rain during the past 48 hours.

According to the Punjab Disaster Management Authority, 21 people have died and 154 were injured in the province. Meanwhile, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa PDMA reported 22 deaths and 23 injuries. Authorities warned that intermittent heavy rain is expected to continue.
