Pakistan, June 29 -- The Meteorological Department has forecast the arrival of the monsoon season from the first week of July, warning of heavy rainfall, strong winds, lightning and possible flooding across several parts of Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a province-wide pre-monsoon alert, urging authorities and citizens to prepare for severe weather conditions.

According to the weather forecast, Punjab is expected to receive widespread rainfall from July 1 to 6, while Balochistan may experience showers between July 1 and 4. Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is likely to receive rain from July 1 to 5, whereas Sindh is expected to witness rainfall between July 3 and 4.
