Pakistan, July 16 -- Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Boeing's headquarters in Washington and discussed progress on acquiring 16 new aircraft for Pakistan International Airlines. The meeting focused on strengthening PIA's fleet and finalising the best available purchase options. The development marks a step forward in Pakistan's aviation sector reforms.

A delegation from PIA's new management accompanied Mohsin Naqvi during the visit. He met Boeing Global President Brendan Nelson and discussed the airline's future fleet requirements. Both sides reviewed different options for the purchase of new aircraft.
