Pakistan, June 7 -- Iranian media outlets are reporting that Pakistan's interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in the Iranian capital.
The Pakistani interior minister is expected to hold talks with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, among other Iranian officials, during his visit, IRNA and Tasnim news agencies said. Pakistan has been the main mediator in efforts to reach a deal between Iran and the US to end the war.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday held a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during which they discussed the latter's upcoming visit to Tehran, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
