Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he wants to forgive protesters who directed abusive remarks at him during recent youth-led demonstrations over exam paper leak, as his government continues to respond to one of its biggest political challenges in recent years.

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, Modi said the language used by some demonstrators was unacceptable but stressed that young people should be guided rather than punished for mistakes.
