Pakistan, Oct. 1 -- India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump discussed bilateral ties during a phone call on Wednesday. The two leaders reviewed cooperation in trade, defence, energy and critical technologies. They also discussed regional and international developments, according to New Delhi.

Modi said the leaders agreed to maintain close engagement to advance the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The call came as India continues negotiations with Washington over a proposed trade agreement.
