Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- The import of mobile phones into the country has witnessed a decrease of 3.56 percent during the first month of the current fiscal year (2026-27) as compared to the corresponding month of last year.

Pakistan imported mobile phones worth US $ 140.435 million during July 2026 as compared to the imports of US $ 145.612 million during July 2025, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, the imports of mobile phones also decreased by 0.77 percent during July 2026, as compared to the imports of US $141.522 million during June 2026, according to the data.
