Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- The judicial commission probing the Mir Raza case has ordered officials to issue a notice to Sindh Interior Minister Zia Lanjar. The decision followed an intervention by the Sindh Advocate General during the hearing. The commission then paused the proceedings temporarily. It will continue examining the case after the minister responds.
Mir Raza's father, sister and police surgeon Dr Samia appeared before the commission. They answered questions about different aspects of the case. Advocate Jibran Nasir also raised concerns about forensic samples taken from Mir Raza's body. He told the commission that the samples reached the laboratory after a delay.
