Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- In the light of Articles 20, 25, 26, 27 and 36 of the Constitution of Pakistan, the State is unequivocally committed to protecting the rights of religious minorities and ensuring their dignified and meaningful participation in national life. Pakistan's constitutional framework and institutional arrangements provide minorities with substantial opportunities to participate fully in the country's political, economic and social life. These include political representation, employment quotas, educational opportunities, protection of places of worship, and a range of welfare and development initiatives.
