Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Millions of people across Spain and Iceland prepared on Wednesday to witness a rare total solar eclipse. The Moon will pass directly between Earth and the Sun, briefly turning daylight into twilight. Authorities expected up to six million visitors across northern Spain and the Balearic Islands. Many travellers headed to rural areas along the eclipse path for clearer views. Spain has not experienced a total solar eclipse across the Iberian Peninsula since 1912. The country will also see another total eclipse in 2027.
