Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Meta Platforms apologised to India's government on Wednesday after briefly restricting a social media post by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July. The company said the restriction resulted from an operational error and was not intentional.
Chief Global Affairs Officer Joel Kaplan said he apologised to India's information technology minister on behalf of Meta. According to the company, the post was mistakenly restricted due to an internal operational issue.
