Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has taken notice of passengers being charged higher fares despite the reduction in diesel prices.

He directed the Secretary Transport and other concerned authorities to ensure a corresponding reduction in public transport fares. In a statement, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that following the reduction in diesel prices, the reduction in public transport fares should also be strictly implemented. He directed the authorities to take immediate action against transporters charging excessive fares from passengers.
