Pakistan, May 19 -- Police restricted media from entering the jail complex during court proceedings involving accused Anmol alias Pinky in Karachi on Tuesday, citing official directives from senior authorities.

According to reports, police personnel deployed outside the jail complex informed media representatives that they had received strict instructions not to allow journalists access to the premises during the hearing.

Officials on site reportedly told reporters that permission for media coverage had not been authorised, preventing journalists from observing or covering the proceedings inside the complex.
