Pakistan, April 26 -- An environmental expert issued a warning on Saturday, urging residents from South Punjab to Karachi and other areas to take extra precautions against the upcoming heatwave, as May is expected to be dry with temperatures ranging between 44degC and 47degC.
Speaking to a local media channel, Dr. Zulfiqar, an expert on environmental issues and climate research, warned that South Punjab is likely to experience a heatwave in May, similar to the extreme temperatures already affecting Sindh and Karachi.
