Pakistan, April 24 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a new agricultural uplift portal. The scheme aims to distribute farmland to landless rural families across Punjab. It seeks to boost farming income and rural employment opportunities.
The initiative, titled Apna Khet Apna Rozgar, will allocate agricultural land worth Rs160 billion. Authorities said thousands of families across districts and Cholistan will benefit. The programme targets unemployed rural residents for long-term economic support.
