Pakistan, April 14 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced free wheat storage bags worth Rs6 billion for farmers. The initiative aims to support registered wheat growers during the procurement season. The decision is expected to benefit farmers across the province.

Under the plan, registered farmers will receive ten bags per acre from procurement centres. The chief minister also directed immediate wheat purchases at Rs3,500 per maund. The move is designed to ensure timely payments and fair pricing for growers.
