Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- A private nikah ceremony for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, took place at Jati Umra in Lahore. The ceremony remained limited to family members and close relatives. Several senior members of the Sharif family attended the event. The gathering was held privately without a large public ceremony.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif attended the nikah ceremony. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also joined the family gathering. Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz were among the other Sharif family members present. Close relatives also attended the ceremony.
