Pakistan, May 31 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a cash reward of Rs10,000 for every Suthra Punjab worker who participated in the province-wide Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness operation. Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said the decision recognizes the dedication and hard work of sanitation teams that ensured timely waste collection and disposal during the three days of Eid celebrations across the province.

The large-scale sanitation campaign achieved significant results, with workers disposing of nearly 360,000 tonnes of animal waste during Eid.
