Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and US Charge d'Affaires Natalie A. Baker discussed stronger cooperation in security, education, investment, energy and technology during a meeting in Lahore.

The two sides agreed to explore cooperation in artificial intelligence, digital assets and energy, while also considering US expertise to help Punjab manage floods and worsening smog.

They also discussed holding a Punjab-US Business and Investment Forum in Lahore to encourage investment and strengthen economic ties. The initiative could create new opportunities for businesses from both sides.
