Pakistan, June 29 -- The widow of a martyred Pakistan Navy officer has been commissioned as an officer in the Pakistan Navy, marking a significant milestone in her journey of resilience and service to the country.

Alveera Hamza, the wife of martyred Lieutenant Commander Hamza Abid, successfully earned a commission as a naval officer after completing her training at the Pakistan Naval Academy. She also received the prestigious Commandant Gold Medal in recognition of her outstanding performance during training.

Following her commissioning, Alveera joined the Pakistan Navy's Information Technology (IT) branch, where she will serve as an officer.
