Pakistan, July 2 -- Marcus Smart has agreed to a two-year contract worth $13 million with the Houston Rockets after entering free . The deal reportedly includes a player option for the second season, giving the veteran guard flexibility while strengthening Houston's experienced backcourt ahead of the new NBA campaign.

The move reunites Smart with head coach Ime Udoka, who previously worked with him during their successful time together in Boston. Houston is expected to benefit from Smart's leadership, defensive intensity and playoff experience as the franchise continues building a competitive squad capable of challenging in the Western Conference.
