Pakistan, July 21 -- ASEAN foreign ministers opened their annual meeting in Manila on Tuesday with calls for greater unity amid rising geopolitical uncertainty. Regional security, economic resilience, and cooperation are expected to dominate the discussions.

Opening the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting, Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro urged member states to pursue collective action. She said the region must respond with active and deliberate solutions to growing global challenges.
