Pakistan, April 24 -- Police in Islamabad have arrested a man accused of posting controversial remarks on social media during a sensitive security situation, allegedly referring to Tarnol Crossing as the "Strait of Hormuz". Authorities said the statement circulated online at a time when strict security measures were already in place across parts of the federal capital.
The suspect, identified as Khurram Nazir, was taken into custody after police traced the social media post to his account. Officials confirmed that a case was registered against him at Tarnol Police Station under legal provisions related to interference in government work and breach of peace.
