Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye have united their efforts to strengthen regional security. He described the Makkah agreement as a historic milestone for the three countries.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, Iqbal said the agreement was not directed against any country. He said it aims to promote peace, stability and prosperity across the region.

Iqbal said Pakistan is emerging as a regional security provider and an anchor of stability. He also credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir with strengthening Pakistan's international position.
