Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has announced an upcoming meeting under the Makkah Accord. He said the Strategic Political Defence Committee will meet in Riyadh soon.

Dar made the announcement during a press briefing about Pakistan's diplomatic engagements at the United Nations General Assembly. He said officials from Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia had agreed in principle to hold the meeting.

The committee includes three representatives from each country. Its members include the foreign ministers, defence ministers and army chiefs of Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia.
