Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has clarified that the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye is purely defensive and does not target any country. Dar said the pact aims to strengthen strategic cooperation while supporting regional peace, stability and prosperity. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye signed the agreement in Makkah on August 7 after years of negotiations and coordination. He said the agreement reflects the strong relations between the three countries.
