Pakistan, June 6 -- Madonna surprised hundreds of fans with an unannounced concert in New York's Times Square on Thursday night. The pop-up performance promoted her upcoming album Confessions II and marked the start of Pride Month celebrations. Fans gathered at short notice to witness the rare live appearance by the music icon.

The 67-year-old singer performed a 15-minute set from a stage built inside one of Times Square's giant LED displays. Wearing a pink corset, blue bra, thigh-high boots, and blue sunglasses, Madonna delivered several of her biggest hits. The event was sponsored by Grindr and was also streamed live for online audiences.
