Pakistan, July 31 -- The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has increased liquefied petroleum gas prices for August, raising the cost by Rs12.89 per kilogram. The increase has pushed the price of a household LPG cylinder above Rs3,000.

According to an OGRA notification, the new LPG price has been set at Rs254.32 per kilogram for August. The revised rates will apply across the country during the upcoming month.

The notification stated that the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has increased to Rs3,000.92. The latest adjustment reflects changes in the official pricing mechanism for LPG.
