Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- The LPG Committee's first meeting was chaired by the Secretary, Petroleum, to operationalise a transparent auction mechanism and ensure fair market access under the approved deregulated framework.

Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasised the government's commitment to addressing public concerns over LPG availability and unfair pricing.

Ali said the initiative was in the public interest, particularly to address difficulties faced by consumers who could not access LPG at affordable prices.
