Pakistan, April 23 -- Pakistan has decided to proceed with the urgent spot purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and has invited international companies to submit bids for three cargoes. The move comes as part of efforts to ensure stable energy supplies during the coming weeks.
According to sources at Pakistan LNG Limited, bids have been requested for three LNG cargoes on an immediate basis. The bidding process is scheduled to close on April 24, and the bids will be opened on the same day. The decision reflects ongoing energy demand management.
