At the 78th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, she won the best supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie award for her performance in DTF St. Louis. The DTF St. Louis star struggled to hold back tears as she accepted her first-ever Emmy on Sunday, September 6 during the ceremony held at Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
