Pakistan, May 3 -- The decision of the Customs Appellate Tribunal to the extent of abolishing fines on smuggled mobile phones is declared null and void.
The Lahore High Court has issued a detailed judgment on an appeal against the Customs Appellate Tribunal's decision to abolish fines for smuggling mobile phones through the green channel at the airport in Pakistan. A two-member bench headed by Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh of the Lahore High Court issued the decision.
