Pakistan, Sept. 2 -- Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari said that a fire broke out in the Gynaecology Ward of General Hospital this morning, which was brought under control by the hospital staff within a few minutes.

She said that no patient, attendant or member of the medical staff present at the hospital sustained any harm. On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, fire alert arrangements have been completed in all government hospitals. "Whatever Maryam Nawaz orders, implementation is visible," she said, adding that the timely control of the fire at General Hospital was a major proof of this.
