Pakistan, June 20 -- Schedule for by-elections on vacant General Local Council seats in 20 districts of Balochistan has been released. Polling for 81 different vacant General Local Council seats in 20 districts will be held on August 09, 2026. The Election Commission has issued a notification in this regard. Pishin/Barshor, Chagai, Zhob, Sherani, Loralai, Daki, Musakhel, Sibi, Harnai, Kohlu, Naseerabad, Awsta Muhammad, Kachhi, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Hub, Kech and Gwadar have seats vacant. Returning Officers will issue public notices on June 30, 2026 as per the schedule. Nomination papers can be submitted to the concerned Returning Officers from July 1 to 3, 2026.
