Pakistan, June 12 -- Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division) Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari on Thursday held a meeting with a high-level Spanish delegation led by Ambassador of Spain to Pakistan Carlos Aragon to discuss ongoing reforms in Pakistan's power sector, investment opportunities and avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy, the two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including modernization of the energy sector and prospects for collaboration in emerging technologies. On the occasion, the Spanish Ambassador particularly appreciated Pakistan's positive and constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.
