Pakistan, May 28 -- Lahore police have launched a crackdown against banned organisations and individuals illegally collecting animal hides during Eidul Azha under Section 144. Authorities said strict action is being taken to regulate charitable activities and maintain law and order across the city. The operation comes amid heightened security measures during the Eid period.

According to Deputy Inspector General of Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran, 45 suspects have been arrested for illegally collecting sacrificial hides without official permission.
