Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- Lahore will host a 10-day Basant festival from January 29 to February 7, 2027. The celebrations will pause on February 5 to observe Kashmir Day. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved the revised schedule on Wednesday.

The latest announcement changes the dates previously announced for March 12 to 14, 2027. District Lahore's published schedule had earlier listed those March dates for the festival. The new January plan places Basant before the expected start of Ramadan in February.
