Pakistan, Sept. 7 -- Marnus Labuschagne remains in Australia's Test squad for the South Africa tour despite his recent struggles with the bat. The right-hander has not scored a Test century since 2023 and recently struggled against Bangladesh. However, chief selector George Bailey believes Labuschagne can still make a positive contribution.

Labuschagne scored only one, 31 and four across two Tests against Bangladesh last month. His poor form then saw him dropped from Australia's one-day squad for tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa. Despite that decision, selectors kept him in the Test team for the upcoming series.
