KUWAIT CITY, Aug. 14 -- Kuwait has withdrawn or declared the loss of citizenship for 30 individuals. The latest action follows a government review of nationality cases. The decisions were published in the official gazette, Kuwait Alyoum. Authorities issued two decrees on August 11 covering six individuals. The measures were taken under Kuwait's Nationality Law.

Under Decree No. 128 of 2026, authorities revoked citizenship certificates belonging to five people. The decree also covers people who gained citizenship through dependency on those affected.
