Pakistan, July 27 -- Kuwait has formally signed into law a Defense Cooperation Agreement with Pakistan to expand military cooperation and the intelligence-sharing framework between the two countries. The decree signs into law the defense pact that was originally signed in Kuwait. For Pakistan, the agreement expands its role as a genuine Gulf security partner after recently signing a similar deal with the Saudis. Its scope includes military training and education, logistical support, exchanges of military personnel, technical experts and specialists, defence science and technology, and military intelligence.
