Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- US envoy Jared Kushner has urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to obstruct the Trump administration's Gaza peace plan. The appeal comes as Washington seeks progress on a proposed 15-point roadmap.

Kushner pressed Netanyahu to advance the plan during a meeting, CNN reported. An Israeli source told the network that Kushner urged Netanyahu to "not create obstacles" to implementation.

The meeting followed Kushner's talks with senior Hamas officials in Egypt. Israeli media reported that the nearly four-hour meeting produced no agreement on several key issues. Netanyahu reportedly remains opposed to parts of the proposed second-phase roadmap....
