Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has refused a proposed Rs6.4 billion deduction from its federal financial transfers, citing constitutional and financial concerns.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said the federal government had sought additional funds from KP before the provincial budget and linked the payment to a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan.

He said KP had also demanded its due share for merged districts under the 11th National Finance Commission, which the federal government agreed to include in the relevant NFC proceedings.
