Pakistan, Sept. 28 -- The federal government transferred Rs2,347 billion to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the NFC Award over two years. The payments covered the 2024-25 and 2025-26 financial years, according to Finance Ministry documents. The figures detail federal transfers made to the province through the existing revenue-sharing system.

According to the ministry's document, KP received Rs1,244 billion during the 2025-26 financial year. The federal government transferred Rs1,103 billion to the province during 2024-25. Therefore, the latest annual transfer increased by Rs141 billion compared with the previous year.
