Pakistan, Sept. 20 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have directed all police formations and senior officers to strictly implement court orders restricting the use of government resources and involvement of public officials in a planned September 27 march of a political party towards Islamabad.
The directive was issued through a letter by the office of the Inspector General of Police, KP, on September 18 and conveyed to all police units, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar, regional police officers and district police officers.
According to the letter, no government officer or official could be compelled to assist, facilitate or provide any support for a march, rally or procession heading towards Islamabad.
