Pakistan, Aug. 22 -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to seek a World Bank loan for flood-hit areas. The funds will support rehabilitation and flood prevention projects.
According to government sources, the proposed financing will focus on infrastructure damaged by last year's floods. Irrigation systems will receive particular attention under the recovery plans.
