Pakistan, Nov. 7 -- Significant progress is being made to promote local and foreign investment in the minerals sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensure optimal utilisation of the province's mineral resources, and boost industrial activities.

In this regard, a delegation representing Chinese and local investors called on Adviser to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Minerals Dr Syed Sarfaraz Ali Shah.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on investment opportunities in the province's mineral resources, mining of raw minerals, the use of modern technology, and the local processing of mineral raw materials.
