Pakistan, Oct. 1 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law Aftab Alam on Wednesday chaired important meetings of the Cabinet Standing Committee and related cabinet committees, which reviewed in detail judicial orders' implementation, the merger of former Khassadars and Levies personnel into the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, sub-judice court cases and land acquisition payments for development projects.

In the Cabinet Standing Committee meeting, a compliance report regarding the Peshawar High Court's decision of April 16, 2024, Writ Petition No. 4642-P/2023 and COC No. 313-P/2024 was reviewed. The court decision pertains to the merger of former Khassadars and Levies personnel of Mohmand district into the KP Police.
