Pakistan, Nov. 3 -- Samar Haroon Bilour, the Information Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, leveled serious allegations of financial fraud against JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday. Speaking in an official statement, she claimed that critical documents regarding the Mufti Mahmood Centre on Peshawar's Ring Road have surfaced. Furthermore, Bilour alleged that Maulana Fazlur Rehman obtained funds from Libya under the pretext of constructing the center. Consequently, while Libyan money was utilized for the building's construction, official ownership records reportedly list the property directly under Fazlur Rehman's personal name. Therefore, provincial authorities are investigating the legal standing of the complex.
